Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

you want a way to save on costs? get insurance from out do the registration on your own, just pay the showroom their logistic charges should be 7-8k
i was charged the same amount for registration from the showroom when i saw my road tax receipts it was 48k. rest 2000/3000 went for registration charges then they say 3000 rto handling charges, 8000 logistic charges 2000 rto chai pani(wanted to tell them that a tea in tunga regenza costs 150 and mineral water 1 liter around 110) and rest dealer margin. even though i drove my car there for registration[frustration]

now if you take your car there, just need to pay an agent or noting at all or if you wish 500 for the cop. road tax and whatever registration charges are there and the logistic charges to showroom.
insurance also I'm sure you will get a quote for 25k outside.

Hey Nick; I have asked that but no dealer was/is ready to give away a Verna CRDi or i20 CRDi in ex showroom price.[frustration]

BTW read today's newspaper that the state taxes have increased again by 4% or so. What the hell![cry] After 32k increase theres gonna be a price increase again. I am really pissed off from our Government.
Can some one elaborate more about this. What could be the increase in the prices.

@Gears, Any info about your booking? Did you speak to your dealer offlate? I am just curious as I did book my Verna on a date close to yours [:)]. Is there a change in the on-road price after your state's budget?

Gears. When is your Angel in White coming ? And Hey I was most upset for you after reading yesterday morning news papers about the hike in road tax and registration charges in Maharashtra. Dont know what the collective hit of the central budget + the state budget will be . These goons will milk us all the way.

Hey VernaRulz; Not much info about my verna but yes at the time of booking the dealer had already mentioned then that there might be a price increase of 2-3%. Also they have mentioned; 'Price applicable at the time of delivery.' Well I have posted the new price in the post #43 of this thread which is increased around 32k. But after that prices will increase more; all thanks to the state government with their seperate budget.[cry]

Hey thanks for the concern TopGun![embarass]
Well the Angel is expected to be with us in late April.(fingers crossed)
Yesterday morning; when I woke up; I was little sleepy and the first thing I do after getting up is grab the paper in one hand a glass full of water to drink in the other hand. After reading about the price increase believe me the whole sleep was gone.[lol]
Don't know how dad will react after we get the final onroad price. I hope he doesn't change his mind.

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

Some Updates:
Please neglect post #43!

Went to the show room today to check out our car's status and to get the new pricing. According to them they have not yet received the final/latest pricing after the state budget and all because the government have not yet started implementing them.

Also they said that since I have booked in Jan; there was a price hike of around 10-12k in Feb from Hyundai which we were not ware of.[frustration] After that the Union Budget's price was implemented which came up as follows:

Hyundai Fluidic Verna SX CRDi. as on 02/04/2012
Vashi pricing; MH/43; Excluding Octroi Including 1%Cess.

Ex showroom: 9,80,578/-
Insurance: 30,763/-
Registration(INDV) & Service Charge: 77,240/-
1%CESS: 9,806/-
Total: 10,98,387/-

Extended Warranty 3rd year: 11,619/-
Essential package: 11,999/-

Price difference = Price post budget - Price pre budget.
Price difference = 10,98,387 - 10,64,322
Price difference = 34,065/-

Now according to them if state's budget is to be considered; there might be a hike of around 1k in insurance and of around 3k in the rto registration. In all of 4k. I doubt this but they were sure the ex showroom price would not be increased. Lets see what happens.

Regarding the delivery; We can expect the car in late April or early May. Around 1month of patience more.

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

WOW ! 10,98,387 + 12k for extended warranty , prices have increased a lot . I was lucky to get mine in february itself . As said earlier i got my for around 10.7 lackhs including extended warranty . When i first took the test drive of verna back in september last year its price was 10.40 lackhs on road for 1.6crdi SX. When i booked the car the price was 10.52 and when i got the car it was 10.65 + extended warranty . In september i was asked for a premium of 40k to get the car within 15 days but i refused since i was not in any hurry . If i had paid that premium the actual cost now wouldnt be that different but anyway waiting can be sweet :)

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

So some Updates:

After making several calls to my SA and the SH(Sales Head); finally was able to get my car in the April's next lot.

Last week the SA called us and told that we might get our car in the coming lot and also to complete the finance formalities; which was already completed a month back:biggrin:.

So day before yesterday called the SA and asked him the status; he told to make the payments and take the engine and chassis number since they have received the car's details.

Today made the DD's/payorders and all and made the payments and got the engine and chassis number.

According to them the car will be dispatched tomorrow or day after from the factory. After that around 5-6 days to reach the showroom. After that a couple of days more for the reg. stuff. So might get the car in hand in first week of May.

And yes also Sold our Beloved 'Loyal Work Horse'; 2008 DZire VDi which had clocked 76,500kms; yesterday.[cry]

Gears. I took delivery of my verna on temp registration. I was told that the validity is 7 days and I should get the registration formalities completed within the stipulated 7 days. The last few days wait is the most agonising , but also the most memorable since all your night dreams will be replaced with your beauty in White . So enjoy your wait and Sweet Dreams ofcourse !!
