Tata Motors Group global wholesales at 1,07,030 in August 2018​

Mumbai, September 10, 2018: The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in August 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 1,07,030 nos., higher by 14%, as compared to August 2017.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in August 2018 were at 45,719 nos., higher by 29%, over August 2017.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in August 2018 were at 61,328 nos., higher by 4%, compared to August 2017.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 42,658 vehicles (*JLR number for August 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 4,106 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 14,209 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 28,449 vehicles.

*CJLR – It is a JV between JLR and Chery Automobiles and is an unconsolidated subsidiary for JLR

Tata Motors Group global wholesales at 1,23,577 in September 2018​

Mumbai, October 9, 2018: The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in September 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 1,23,577 nos., higher by 6%, as compared to September 2017.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in September 2018 were at 52,018 nos., higher by 25%, over September 2017.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in September 2018 were at 71,559 nos., lower by 4%, compared to September 2017.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 52,987 vehicles (*JLR number for September 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 4,853 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 18,876 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 34,111 vehicles.

*CJLR – It is a JV between JLR and Chery Automobiles and is an unconsolidated subsidiary for JLR

Tata Motors Group global wholesales at 1,09,597 in October 2018​

Mumbai, November 11, 2018: The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in October 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 1,09,597 nos., higher by 6%, as compared to October 2017.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in October 2018 were at 44,380 nos., higher by 19%, over October 2017.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in October 2018 were at 65,217 nos., lower by 2%, compared to October 2017.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 46,766 vehicles (*JLR number for October 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 2,385 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 13,373 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 33,393 vehicles.

The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in November 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 1,04,964 nos., lower by 7%, as compared to November 2017.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in November 2018 were at 38, 535 nos., lower by 6%, over November 2017.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in November 2018 were at 66,429 nos., lower by 7%, compared to November 2017.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 49,312 vehicles (*JLR number for November 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 4,144 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 15,114 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 34,198 vehicles.

The Tata Motors Group global wholesales in December 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 100,551 nos., lower by 13.9%, as compared to December 2017.

Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in December 2018 were at 40,653 nos., lower by 14% over December 2017.

Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in December 2018 were at 59,898 nos., lower by 14%, compared to December 2017.

Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 45,474 vehicles (*JLR number for December 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 5007 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 14,088 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 31,386 vehicles.

Volkswagen Surpasses Toyota And Nissan In Global Sales In 2018

Toyota Motor Corp. sold 10.59 million vehicles globally last year, which Nissan-Renault-Mitsubishi alliance reported that its combined global sales stood at 10.76 million vehicles. VW's total sales touched the 10.83 million units.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars reports record results surpassing the previous record set in 2019, the highest in the marque’s 117-year history.

Volvo Car Sales: January - April 2022

Volvo Cars reports sales of 47,150 cars in April, down 24.8 per cent compared with the same month last year. Demand is still strong, especially for Volvo Cars’ electrified vehicles and the share of Recharge models as part of total sales continues to increase.

In April Volvo Cars electrified Recharge models grew 18.7 cent compared with the same month in 2021 accounting for 38.4 per cent of total sales. The share of fully electric cars stood at 10 per cent.

For the January-April period, Volvo Cars’ sales reached 195,445 cars, down 21.3 per cent compared with the same period last year.

In April, Covid-19 lockdowns in eastern China impacted retail deliveries in China and added more challenges to already weakened global supply chains, resulting in additional loss of production.

As previously communicated at the end of the first quarter, Volvo Cars informed of a supplier shortage of a specific type of semi-conductor, which will impact production during the second quarter. The company considers this a temporary setback and expects the supply chain restraints related to semi-conductors to improve during the second half of the year.

European sales for April reached 19,822 cars, down 23.2 per cent compared with the same month last year. Volvo’s electrified Recharge sales accounted for 51.4 per cent of the total sales in the region during the month.

Volvo Cars’ US sales for the month reached 10,022 cars, down 9.2 per cent compared with April last year, with Recharge models making up 44.1 per cent of the total sales.

China sales declined 47.8 per cent in April to 8,579 cars compared to the same month last year.

Volvo’s top selling model for the month was the XC60 with sales of 14,952 cars (2021: 17,925 units), followed by the XC40 at 13,876 cars (2021: 19,833) and the XC90 at 8,208 cars (2021: 9,371 units).

Volvo Car Group recorded an operating profit of 20.3 BSEK. Revenue in 2021 amounted to 282.0 BSEK, while global sales reached 698,700 cars.
