I’ve always preferred the looks of windows vista but on the user friendliness, XP has scored over for me and moreover, my current PC doesn’t have so great specs. So, in the idea of giving a tinge of vista on my XP, I did a really simple change inspired from an article here which might be of some use to vista wannabe PC lovers!
This is how my desktop looked earlier:
And This is how it looks now:
To make your XP look like the one above without taking risk of replacing original uxtheme.dll file of your system, Simply Download Vista's "futuristic" mouse pointers from here , Few vista desktop icons from here and Google for fresh wallpapers, Then your XP will have a touch of Vista which feels fantastic when you operate and we call it "Vista XP" Enjoy!
