Hmm, yes police will go mad if odd-even rule in Maharashtra but if government introduced rule not to allow any Fancy number plates then it's going to fill pockets of police!!
No need to introduce a new rule, 8055 written as BOSS, these kind of 'Fancy' things are not legal even now. But they just do it. It makes a news every now and then in the newspaper and cops will be in a catching spree, few days later everything subsides. Fancy numbers are fine (Eg: MH01 AK 47), anyway people spend a lot to get such numbers.
