hey guys, sorry to drop in late on this thread, but wanted to share a little bit of my test drive today with ford figo titanium diesel tdci variant.Surely with this price range build quality interiors and exteriors is much better then maruti's,hyundai and tata stable.Feels that thud shutting doors. All black interiors with silver touch looks and feels nice compared to their another pinkish red dash which is out of sync.Engine is fun and peppy to drive with minimal turbo lag at lower rpm's which is why i feel this car won so many awards nationally, as a complete package its a superb car from ford.I could not push it more in city roads but seemed it would surely do great on highways.Ground clearance felt a bit lower but not an issue with city driven conditions only on bad patches it might scrap its belly, also one thing i noticed is its radiator grille which is right next to front bumpers and might get damaged on a crash, as there were no crosslink bars wielded inbetween radiator and front bumpers, not sure though.
I also enquired about rear glass not completely rolling down, for what SE said it has cross bars on both the rear doors for extra protection and strengthing for passengers which is why they could not roll down completely, also i saw a big round 4 inch bar crossing frond dash fully for extra protection which helps passengers for better safety if crashed.Colours choice is minimal but white looked best to me.
There are optional + variants seems from dealer for ZX and Titanium series with added alloys, spoiler, leather seats with extra price. If i am in a market to buy a new small car with 6L budget i would surely think of buying figo compared to vista, swift and punto, which are only three other options avialable in this price range.
