Re: Global Announcement From Ford on 3rd Feb 2014

any idea of Fiesta Hatchback coming to India ?
Fiesta hatchbac wont come to India thats 99% sure, because the Indian audience who like something like that is just below 5% of population,Fiesta sedan as facelift probably will show up

^^That Endeavor looks superb buddy[clap]
The image shown in post is of Ford Expedition 2015 for the Australian and some European and Russian markets, it wont make its way to India, engine choices for the beast shown in picture are 2.7l v6 TDCi and a 5.0 v8 and a 3.5l ecoboost v6
The Endeavor coming to India has almost blown its cover and looks similar to Ford Ranger thats the ladder frame platform used in Ford F-150 s, its a very tough off road platform
Upcoming 2015 Ford Endeavour aka Everest spotted testing - Motoroids.com
The possible engine choices are a new 2.2l 150 hp diesel and the old tried and tested 3.2 TDCi 5 cylinder diesel with 150 hp in FWD tune and 197 hp in AWD tune

Here is one amazing news the one I have been waiting for Ford has started testing the new Ford Escort in China, the engine choices seem to be a 1.3 and 1.5 petrol engines, If they are ecoboost 1.3 and 1.5, its going to be awesome well only if it makes to India

Since Ford Fiesta sedan is already confirmed. So my blind guess is, Endeavor might get a Facelift and Ford Fusion (US version) might be launched in India as Mondeo !!

The new 1.0 3 cylinder non turbo engine of Ford doing work in Fiesta there are 2 versions 64 bhp and 79 bhp, this is 79 bhp model, think its pretty economy conscious in nature, European tests claim an average of 15 kmpl in City and 19 kmpl in highway, acceleration is pretty good but midrange is not as strong one might think but low speed drive ability is superb

Ford’s Auto Expo 2014 show star won’t be an all-new hatchback concept as many are expecting, but a four-door, sub-four-metre sedan that will make its global debut in India.

The production version of this all-new sedan is essentially the three-box derivative of the next-generation Figo (Codename: B562), and will replace the Fiesta Classic when it goes on sale in 2015.

That confirms the logic behind massive discounts on Classic. Here's a teaser which Ford shared with us sometime ago.

I think the Ford Classic 1.6 Titanium petrol is now available for around Rs 7.56 lakh on road, I think its a much better hot sedan to own rather than a Polo GT TSI
Has manual tranny(sweet 1)
Has 100 PS of Power & 146 NM @ 3400 rpm unlike the new 1.5 TIVCT which has 108 PS but just 140 NM @ 4400 rpm,and is quiet quick and engine revvs well and is very eager(not as eager as 1.2 TSI but eager enough)
Has a better suspension setup than any other car in that price tag(sporty)
Has very good space, back seat armrest, best AC,good cabin insulation, nice boot, good audio system, all essential features needed fort a drivers car
The Classic 1.6 Titanium is now a steal for the money
