No man, I know enquiry about this feature has been doing rounds on the forum, even I wondered if I have missed it for so long. I will checkout the user manual and update.

My guess, it needs to be activated, is it?:help:

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I also asked at the dealership how to activate so called anti-theft alarm (Refer to Pg.31 of manual) but they were totally unaware.

Thats consistent with the dealerships !! Its more pathetic here in Hyderabad, I had told one instance to you earlier, the salesman did not know the interior color scheme for the New Ford Fiesta when I went for a test drive.

I wonder there are some other features too which I have never even come to know about[frustration]

According to Motor Vehicle Act, side and front / rear sun films must have visibility of at least 50% and 70% respectively. So mine will be lighter than the PS version.

I did sun-films fitment for my White Vista this weekend. Going by the laws for all glasses is a bit costlier. Garware icecool will cost 8000+ taxes for 100% RTO approved films on all the sides (windshiled including)

Thought it was a bit too much for me and therefore did the following which suited my budget,

Garware classic on sides & rear - 35-40% visibility; 45-55% heat rejection with 3 years manufacturer warranty @ visibility & heat rejection.
Shade >> Natural ash

Garware Ice-cool for Windshield - 70% visibility; 50-55% heat rejection with 5 years manufacturer warranty @ visibility & heat rejection

It is giving very good cooling effect and heat rejection was certainly up to the mark (at least to my satisfaction).

Cost was okay as this was done through a friend of my Brother in law. Got very good discount on the package.

This must be excluding the windshield. if I calculate correct then I paid 1500 for the Garware classics (sides & rear). Not certain but I think both of us got a good deal there considering Safari will need at least 25% more material.

Not sure whether you know about it but central locking function can be tuned with the help of remote. Here’s the process: http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...-function-ford-fiesta-classic.html#post132542

Can you post some pictures of the tints? How much is the cost of Garware Classic? (http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...s/3075-share-pics-your-cars-window-tints.html)

Nope. Ford sales representatives and techs. are also totally clueless. Let me inquire about this at their workshop during first service.

Belated congratulation for Fiesta 1.6 Petrol sedan. One of the good looking cars available in India. Interior plastics, fit & finish speak of quality rarely found in indian cars. Right decision of getting classic instead of new fiesta which is relatively not so good looking car. Built quality appears to be very good. Enjoy happy miles on your new car. [clap]

Thanks. Ford hasn't fiddled much with SXi in process of making it a “Classic”. Only miss are the leather seats. I sat in Fiesta Classic CLXi recently when I went to the dealership. Unfortunately, Figo’s dashboard looks too cheap on Rs.7 Lakh car but if someone can overlook it and seeks for a car which is truly a driver’s delight, this is it.
