Is there a way to make a duplicate key with immobilizer in a flip shell?. I don't want to get it from the dealer as it costs a bomb.

I bought a flip key for my swift from aliexpress on 11th Nov. It should reach here any day now.

How much do you guys paid for key cutting?

Any suggested place in Gurgaon (or Delhi)?

OT: Other than 2 keys I have, I want to have another remote lock/unclock unit (without key) to give it to my car cleaner. They (car cleaners) change every few days (the old one introduce the new one) and they take key to clean the car from inside. Car is parked at some distance which is not visible from my home. So, till the time they give the key back, I am always worried.

If I give him the remote unit, he can just lock/unlock the doors but can not start and drive off.

You mean to say he make duplicate keys if you give the original one?. I think others just convert the normal key with an immobilizer inside (optional) and with an on-key/ external remote to a flip key. So this guy make duplicate keys complete with cut key blade, mirrored immobilizer chip and a new flip shell?.

Yes, other then the normal conversion, he can also make completely new (duplicate) key. The only thing is that costs around 4-5k. This thing comes in handy when you lose your main key and you need a spare key.

Yes its absolutely possible to make duplicate key (Immobiliser) in Flip Key. Process may be different depending upon the car.

I did this Flipkey for my Beat. I too had the same fear of the people knowing my address and could trace the vehicle. But later thought positively and ordered.

Where can I covert my autocop key like this?

Isn't it the OEM flip key that comes with Baleno?. I think what others shared here are normal keys custom modified into flip keys.

I'm speaking about the previous gen Baleno which doesn't even came with remote lock.

I also contacted them for my i10. Unfortunately I got a Nippon remote which is too big and they can't do it for me.

Not only was this attempt unsuccessful but more recently I tried with a shop in Delhi for a Flip Key for my Safari OEM remote (Minda) and that also could not be done.
Now I need a Remote Locking for my wife's Celerio. Currently it does not have remote locking. I'm planning to fit one. Please suggest a model with a remote that's easy to convert to Flippy.

If you can get RD company remote system installed in your car then you can have latest design flip keys.

We have a special machine which can copy these remotes to our circuit and can be used in making latest flip keys

Thanks for the information. I see they have 2 models 425 & 444 and they have a range of remotes which can be used with either model. Please suggest which model remote I need to order.
