Please upload pics of the console unit. It was the best of the lot when the bike was released. I had one during the college days. The Speedo / RPM & Fuel indicator all in one. I recollect the headlights used to be rectangular ones not the round ones...

Congrats Shashikanth, the result of your restoration is amazing. Can you also share the rough cost (painting, parts, labour, electricals etc). It will help anybody else who might want to do the same.

Excellent restoration. A few suggestions:
- Put the original rectangular headlamp.
- Put the original Chrome front mudgard.
- Get the original logos for the Tank, Side Panels and Speedo console.
- Get a chromed handle bar.

@K K Datta: thanks still i need to procure some cosmetic things then i will post the full photo shoot.

@ss80 : thanks, costing is all around 30-35k roughly small bits i have not calculated, since its taken around 4 months to collect the parts.

@P3T3R: thanks,

- Put the original rectangular headlamp.--in search of oe part(lucas make) of headlight and tail light

- Put the original Chrome front mudgard. while chroming mounts everything gon bad.

- Get the original logos for the Tank, Side Panels and Speedo console. speedo console is original, but external cover needs replacement, monograms are real headache now i have to go to scrap yard to collect and get it refreshed.

- Get a chromed handle bar. -----sourced a original handle bar but it is rusted all over need to redone...

the work is superb. so happy to see another legend roaring the asphalt. KB100 was one of my favorites. believe it or not i can still remember the sound of it revving up when my uncle started it.
i have a 1992 Bajaj 4S. so happy to a sibling
really you are great. wish i could find someone to do a pint job like that in my town (i had repainted the bike two times but both times the job was not good)

It's a good work frnd, One of my cousin have KB-100, We used to travel together with my Rx-100, I still remember that days in 90's.I feel taking corners is smooth in KB-100 comparing Rx-100, and good FE of 65km/lt.Congrats agian for your patients for searching the parts
@kannan,

Dear Shashikanth, its always an emotional moment for me to see a discarded automobile being brought back or its pristine glory and kudos to you to have provided life to another lovely but forgotten machine. May there be more people like you in this world.

The restoration looks neat. Round headlamp on a squarish motorcycle almost looks quirky-cool. I would have loved to see the KB125 RTZ decals on this one; even the original KB100 decals would have looked good.

How much did the restoration cost you? How does she run? Mind posting a video clip of her firing away to glory?

Thanks for your appreciation and suggestions.

@sam :the problem with the decals they will not fit good and quality also not good that s why i have choose to do the custom decals but its lacquered with paint so i cant remove and install the stock decals, restoration cost is quiet higher side because i purchased parts with different shops and places about 35-38K roughly not counted any misc expenses, video sure i will do.
