Finally a new car to replace Safari (Booked Tata Aria!)

I am getting frustrated with Concorde motors now! Each time i call them they say they still don know the position of the vehicle and they are not giving a delivery date! If its within Dec15th we will take it this year else next year after Jan15th only as Dec15th-Jan15th is considered inauspicious down south.

interesting,i might get the car around 20th December if all goes well,

otherwise i too will get the car delivered in the first week of jan.

Congratulations Dhaya. Btw, need to appreciate your decision to going in for another Tata product and hopefully they will restore the faith.

I guess the delays in delivery, might happen to any car, irrespective of who the manufacturer is. I would suggest you to take the delivery in Jan, as it might add to the resale value, down the lane!

Thanks Avindu! Yeah i think mostly we will taking the car in January , but i think we will be getting a car manufactured in December only , and so i think no use registering in January!

my plan to take the car in this month will not work out,

so i will also be taking the car in jan,

but the car will still remain 2010 manufactured!

Finally got a call from Concorde SE that my car will be arriving today or tomorrow to the showroom! Loan has been sanctioned , my dad has blocked the same number which we have in Safari for Aria too. Still delivery date not confirmed but am expecting the delivery next week.

Yes, of course the series would be different but was the same number readily available or it required some special approach? Also, I think that the registration after 11 days (That is New Year) will pay off while re-selling the car in future, even though the manufacture date would remain of 2010, but generally at that time, the registration number is what primarily matters, I tell this from my own experience while trying to sell-off my car.

Luckily for us it was still available and a new series had just started today! No special approach , just walked in and blocked the number.


Nah , i cant wait long! I want to enjoy with the car in my holidays! We don mind losing a few extra bucks after maybe 4 years , anyways TATA'S resale value is also poor.
