wow wonderful loud shade of blue

I always love small cars with good color pallete options Red, Blue, Greens, etc

With sedans i love it subtle - silver, brown, grey, white, etc [:)]

@chayan: Lovely colour. One of my friends got an i20 in this exact shade and named it 'Tempest'. Its a pain to maintain it, though. Plus it invites *bleep* people of dubious canine origin to 'key' it. So be careful. Do not park it at isolated spots. One scratch and all that gorgeousness is gone.

Run it in properly and dont exceed the oil change intervals by even a kilometre.

All the best and keep us updated.

And oh, the usual crib, MORE PICTURES PLEASE!!

Congrats Chayan! Loved the colour of the car. Figo is a VFM product and i am sure you made the right choice.

I visited the Ford Dealer yesterday as my sister wants a new car. They have offered a 2012 Figo EXi for the ex-showroom price. That is Road Tax, Insurance, Extended Warranty, Underbody coating etc etc all free. With this offer the Diesel EXi is just Rs.36K more than the petrol. But then in Goa Diesel is just under Rs.6 cheaper than petrol.

It was around 57 in Jan 2013, after recent changes in prices should be less than 60. [:D] GOA is the only state in India which has abolished all taxes in Petrol.

Cheers,

Thanks friends for all the kind words. Have not had time to update the thread but a major update coming soon.
Still have to get the seat covers so no interior pictures yet, but the last month has been very busy. Had 3 dents which went to denting/painting, made a short journey of 350 kms and in short quite happy with the car.

In the meantime was able to find the repair manual for Figo on the internet so sharing in the forum.

Hopefully would be helpful to some.

Hey Chayan.

Congrats for the ride.

I just had a test drive of Figo. noticed that there are no head rests on rear seats.

should one miss them on long drives. have some more doubts on interiors. awaiting your snaps.

Enjoy mile munching :)

Hi Parth, there are actually minuscule head rests inbuilt into the rear seats, but actually of no value [confused].

I think I know the reason for that. If you provide something bigger, it actually blocks your rear view and probably be a safety issue otherwise.

The interiors are quite good and this price point. Tomorrow I have planned to take my car for the first service (3 months) and if time permits will get new seat covers as well.

Hmm. Actually I am confused about how much tiring it will be on long drives without those rear seat head rests. Rest the vehicle is Damn good at the price.

Had driven it after Sail-Uva so felt steering a bit hard. will go for another TD soon. :)
