What is it that makes a similarly priced Maruti sell 10X more than a TML product ( swift vs Vista)
-peace of mind-less problems/car, better after sales, better resale...
How ever is TML going to get out of this hole?

Pajero sport seems to be doing decent despite next to ziltch marketing and non existing presence in india. If only they spread wider and farther, it could get close to half the mighty fortuner i feel.

Now not only Mahindra but Toyoto has overtaken tata motors. So a poor image and improper after sales can renegade a former no 2 to no 5 position within one year.

Not a good month for the industry. Everyone had an average performance except, duster and amby

Tata and nissan take a huge dip. Tata's woes may get a little less if customers respond to the price cuts, and not to mention that recent hike in excise duty from april may lead to a good month of march for tata.
As for nissan, I dont know what they should do. They have been completely blown into pieces by their partner renault.
Maruti and hyundai seem steady at the top with marginal losses.

Considering these are the final days of fiat-tata JV we should not expect much sales, but, exclusive showrooms are functional in many cities, wonder what they are doing? And an interesting observation, a worthless crap like estillo was sold more than linea punto combined.
This calls desperately for new launches and price cuts.

Tata is going down and down they need to come up with some strategy quickly to recover.

It seems due to economic conditions and lack luster fuel policy of GOI every manufacturers sales are going down barring a few models.

A big shout out for 350Z (though ironically Nissan is on looser side ,time to reconsider your username? )
So a bad month for Indian Automobiles, and a bloodbath and Mr Darwin is on working.
I really hope management of Nissan, Tata and fiat didn't forgot that "its the strongest" that always wins (or "recession takes bad blood out" if you prefer economics)
