Ducati launched the DesertX Discovery at Rs 21.78 lakh, ex-showroom. The DesertX Discovery is slotted between the DesertX and DesertX Rally variants. The new trim is available in Thrilling Black/Ducati Red livery. The Discovery gets plenty of equipment over the standard trim.

The DesertX Discovery is packed with features that come standard like reinforced hand guards, an engine guard with water pump protection, a radiator grill, and a reinforced sump guard. It also gets heated grips and a larger windshield along with a central stand and aluminium cases for luggage storage. The 5-inch instrument console can be synced with a smartphone via the Ducati Link app which lets you have access to turn-by-turn navigation.

DesertX Discovery is based on a steel trellis frame, with fully adjustable 46 mm KYB front forks and a fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear. It rides on wired tubeless tyres with 21-inch in front and 18-inch at the rear. The wheel travel of the front and the rear is 230 mm and 220 mm respectively. The brake set-up consists of twin 320 mm front discs and a 265 mm rear disc.

The DesertX Discovery is powered by a 937cc liquid-cooled Testastretta L-twin engine with 108 bhp at 9,250 rpm and torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter.
The DesertX Discovery has multiple riding modes, wheelie control, engine brake control, cruise control, USB port, 12V socket, self-cancelling indicators and all LED lights.
