CSK have made the cut!!! Hurray!!! Hopefully this time they will win the IPL. After all, we don't have DD to defeat us in the semis again!
BTW, KKR still have a marginal chance of making it to the semis, at the cost of RCB, if they can thrash MI today that is.

KKR'S NRR cost them a semi final spot , if they had a better NRR and played more aggressively from the beginning they could have easily made the semis!
And one of the main reasons dada has a dot ball percentage of 47% for each innings , the highest by any opener in this IPL!! No offense meant on him am also a huge fan of this off-side king but wish he had played a little aggressive!

Yeah Sachin erred by sending Harbhajan earlier and not Pollard and Tiwary. No use in having Pollard only for the last two overs. But still he managed to give a scare for MSD and his men. But brilliant captaincy by MSD. He knew that pollard was not going to sweep the ball and he was looking to hit straight and so removed the short fine leg fielder inside the circle and placed him at mid-off inside the circle having a long off too and that paid off , Pollard holed a catch to Hayden at mid-off!!
Go CSK , they rock always!! The most consistent team in IPL till now. First edition Finals , second time semis and now they won it!! CSK and MSD truly deserve their win!!

Well maybe , but in those tense moments even an experienced player can wilt under pressure and Sachin did!! He was frustrated after the catches were dropped and wickets were falling cheaply. His body language was not cool , the usually calm Sachin felt the pressure and nervousness was seen in his face! Couple of bad decisions , the game was gone!!
This is where MSD was good , he remained calm and had the faith in his bowlers and fielders!! Actually the fielding was also the difference between the sides , while Raina was taking even the tough catches , Zaheer khan and Fernando dropped relatively easy catches and that also cost them as Raina blasted away and made the Mumbai Indians pay for their mistake!!

As MI were winning all the matches till semi final, They were over confident.
But CSK were desperate for cup as they wer consistent during these three seasons.
