Diesel is better, cause it stay on the glass longer and doesn't let the adhesive stick to the glass after removal. Use it, its really easy to remove using diesel and stationary cutter. After using cutter just wipe the same diesel dipped cloth to remove remaining residue.

Premium ones are damn easy to remove.

wurth/3M etc are easy to remove , they dont leave the glue mark at all.
I removed sunfilms from my i20 windows myself. Just pulled out from top. Then use Colin or some cleaning agent to clean the glue. It took me 30 mins for all these stuff.

I couldn't clean the glue at all. I've given the car to servicing center and have told them to clear the glass. Donno howmuch he'll charge.

you should have used kerosene or diesel with stationary blade to remove the glue, i did the same to remove mine.
i think i used turpentoil(kerosene), which didn't help much for me.

Next, if at all i go for sunfilms, then i'll ask the dealer to stick glueless sun films... which i saw in my cousins place, he never cleaned the glass. The glass remain clean and clear after the sunfilms were removed.

It won't do anything alone after applying it, use the stationary blade. It would peal it just like cutting the butter.

Procedure is
1. Use kerosene dipped cloth on the glass(it seems nothing happened).
2. Use the blade(sharp edge) holding parallel to the glass.

Believe me it'll work. Mine was llumer.

Lumer is the film with pathetic glue, if you remove your lumer film, then you won't be able to roll down your windows.
This is the worst film one can ever use.

Although the latest ruling of SC does not allow any sort of film on car window panes. But if required, going for a good quality and branded sun film is always a wiser choice.
1. It has a long life.
2. Scratch resistant.
3. UV and Heat resistant.
4. Enhances the look of car.
5. Above all if you need to remove it, its the most easiest job with a car. just take out
a coin from your pocket, scratch a corner ( just 4-5 mm, enough to pick with your
fingers) and just pull it, will not be torn in between but the whole piece will be
removed in a go, and you do not need to even clean the glass afterword. No traces
of and gumming or part of film.

This is my experience with branded sun film which had cost me Rs.1100.00 for my Alto( Windshield 70% and side panes 50% VLT) and just 10 days back had to remove when challaned by Chandigarh cops.
