I have read over the internet that CRDI engines in Accent become troublesome after 75-80K run and maintenance becomes expensive. Not sure how much it is true though, may be members owning same can confirm.

You heard it right even the newer version is prone to such troubles, and has started registering the same troubles at the dealer service.

Even similar issue was there in TATA DICOR engines (2006-2008). Interestingly both were common - rail engines.

May be that is the reason toyota is still stuck with the Turbo engines than common rail in innova.

BTW, GLE is the base model I think. Not middle variant. My Getz is a GLE and it is the bare bones base model.
CRDI is a diesel engined Hyundai.
