Wildon thanks for the reply , I know that it made on july 2010 , i am looking for more details on that VIN , by the way after 3 weeks a long fight with GM India and my dealer Geeyem Motors they agreed to replace with a new car that made on 2011 June car without any extra cost. Company will pay for road tax and insurance plus registration. Today i got the new VIN number.One more thing GM zonal manager told me that they billed car to dealer on 2010 December and dealer gave me 2011 may on road worthiness certificate.

@vinayan

Note that from February 2011 onwards the VIN pattern is changed for GM. from then 7th Character represents MONTH and 10th Character represents YEAR.
