but can you get the controls on your current system or that hardware gives you buttons to support, vol.files adjustments?

Hardware has buttons and also there is a remote.

Thats nicely done mate.

Does you HU have AUX-in???
If you had AUX-in, you can put your mobile and listen to songs.
Load as much as you want in mobile itself. All you have to spend is 20 bucks just for 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. :)
