Dears,

BIG twist here.

As I already mentioned I booked the TJET. But on 21st LeasePlan informed me the following:

==================================================================================
effective 01-07-17 onwards GST rates would be applicable on lease Rentals. This would effect in increase in the lease rentals. We request your confirmation in reply email to proceed further.

As per the GST regime below are the applicable rates for lease rentals and residual value

Rates are applicable on various motor vehicles
· Small cars (under 4 meters of length and 1500 cubic capacity) - 28% + cess of 1% (for petrol cars) For eg. Honda Amaze, Hyundai i10 grand.
· Small cars (under 4 meters of length and 1500 cubic capacity) - 28% + cess of 3% (for diesel cars)
For eg. Maruti Swift Diesel, Maruti Dzire.
· Cars under 1500 cc but above 4 meters of length - 28% + cess of 15% = 43% (for both petrol and diesel)
For eg. Honda City 1.5, Maruti Ertiga.
· On all cars above 4 meter length and 1500 - 28% + cess of 15% = 43% (for both petrol and diesel)
For eg. M&M Bolero, BMW 525
==================================================================================
I told them to hold on everything and not to proceed. As I asked the impact of GST for my EMI. But still no clear answer on the same.

Now as per best of my understanding TJET TCO after 3 years 1404084.00 which is high for me. Rs. 7122.00 I have to pay per month on my EMI which is around 5K extra then the pre-GTS time.

So I forced to check the 2nd option.
======================

Back to Skoda RAPID 1.6 MPI Ambition

This cost 1313580.00 after 3 years as TCO.

(all the calculation is approx. and based on my understanding only. My not be 100% correct).

This seems now my only option. Today took 3rd TD with 5 person in the car. As earlier Rapid as very good and better for city drive then TJET. But only point I am concerned with 5 person it hit 2 times in humps (in test drive - rush mode....not as in normal drive).

Now totally confused.

Spending 1.2 L extra for TJET (which has a issue on stopping in 1/2 gear in city drive and high service cost - 10K to 12K )

OR

Go for Rapid Ambition ?

Alone Sir,

Skoda Rapid FE is horrendous. I had TD MPi AT, and FE showed by MID was 3.9 kmpl. MT will be slightly better.

You can go with b2b AMC from Autobahn, which costs 68K for 4 years and excludes following parts :-
1. Tyres
2. AC Compressor
3. Battery

Dear Gautam,

Thanks for the advice. But first time I hear such a low FE. Others saying in city 10-12 KM.

Some issue in your car?

Also as I will take through Lease Plan so first 3 years LeasePlan will take care of all.

Might be cause of my driving.
It was a test drive car Sirji.

Lease Plan sounds cool to me.
