Update: Booked a Top end Ertiga, ZDi, delivery tomorrow

Took back to back test drives of Chevrolet Enjoy and Maruti Ertiga. Didn’t have to think much to go in for Ertiga, though it has a cramped third row. Except that I thought Ertiga to be a much better and refined vehicle.Booked a white ZDi [Top end] with an extended two year warranty. Delivery on Thursday and shall update here with pictures after that.
Accessories to be fitted by tomorrow:
1. Floor mat -2800
2. Seat covers, MGA- 7500
3. Rear spoiler- 5500
4. Parking sensors-2800
5. Foot mat-1950

Yes they delivered me in 5days. Now they have them transit ready.

Interestingly there are a couple of weeks to a month waiting periods for PETROL variants.

We opted for the Top end without Alloy[comes as a set of 5 for about 30k]. Planning to get a set of 4 from outside but not at present.

Update:

Got our Ertiga ZDi delivered yesterday at 5.00pm with all the ordered accessories fitted including rain guards.14km on ODO.Did a quick PDI and collected all the documents.

• While driving back home observed, on the MID, the displayed Average to be gradually increasing from an initial 0.4km/L to 1.5km/L at the end of an 80km drive back home. Didn’t notice that at the inspection.

Freebie: 10 Litres Diesel
Though the audible engine noise coupled with its initial lag is annoying, the light and responsive steering, fantastic ride + handling,smooth gear shift and clutch made the first 80km drive in rain on Ghat roads [to Munnar] a fantastic experience. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of OEM music system. Excellent sound quality with almost no distortion at all.The audio controls on the steering wheel is very handy too.

The ertiga is indeed pleasure to drive , the best thing is inspite of being a big car it gives you a feeling of driving a small and chuckable car .

The ergonomics are also spot on for the car.

Have you thought of adding that faux wooden garnish on the dashboard ?

Some members have done that and it looks quite nice if not mistaken ERTIGA_ZMR or someone else has done that on our forum .

Looks good. They did show us the faux wood kit. Would have done it for doors only, if they had the darker shade-the one the Anniversary Edition Ertiga comes with.

The MPV is going great with no hiccups whatsoever, so far. I was told that it's returning a FE of 14-15 km/h on average, with most of the drives happening in high range roads in and around Munnar.
