Venky, If every thing else is fine very important electrical system/ wires/ lights/ seats not torned, then you should be termed safe.
In regards to "Accelerate is slow sometime in 3rd gear as if its thinking to speedup or not when I hit the pedal."
Observe the RPM verses the speed. Best, try check with a local reliable mechanic for second option

@ krish ,If you like the any post on the forum ,you can click the ' thumps up' button bellow the avtar.

Rat nuisance is everywhere , so I place the' HIT rat kill ' at home, office, car, hence got it quickly .
I remember one Ikon Ford owner paid Rs 40 k to ford ASS,to replace wiring damaged by rats.

Hi All

Again. I did a full inspection on my vehicle.

Adding few more pics from my engine. I see few rusted components in the engine panel. Not sure if this is defective quality parts or reman parts. I also see few steel sheets which cover these rusted components. Not sure if the purpose is to cover these parts or they may burn to high so providing thermal protection/insulation. Any Auto Engineering degree holders here who can shre their thoughts on this? The Vehicle is 1 month old from date of delivery & has run 800KM till date. The Adjacent parts look fresh & painted. I also see a date rstamp of 4-Aug-2012 in one of the engine parts also shared in the picture.

Venky- Problem seems to be more than we assumed. Get hold of a mechanic you might know and get it checked out for second opinion.
Did you talk about this to Chev service center?
