Celebrating BYD Seal’s first anniversary in India, the EV maker launched the 2025 updated version of the Atto 3 and Seal. In its first year here, the Seal has sold 1,300 units. Bookings for both the EVs are now open at Rs 30,000 for the Atto 3 and Rs 1.25 lakh for the Seal.
According to BYD, Atto 3 has managed to sell 3,100 units since its launch. It receives several updates like all-black interiors and front ventilated seats. Another major upgrade in the Atto 3 is the new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which is six times lighter in weight compared to conventional low-voltage batteries. It also has five times better self-discharge consumption and a 15-year lifespan.
The 2025 Seal now features a standard power sunshade and a newly added silver-plated dimming canopy. It also boasts an upgraded air-conditioning system with a larger compressor and a new air purification module.
The Seal Premium is now equipped with Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD), which was earlier only in the Performance variant. The top-of-the-line Seal Performance trim gets the innovative DiSus-C system, which provides enhanced stability, manoeuvring and comfort by adjusting the dampers based on thousands of inputs per second.
The Seal comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interiors are now equipped with an all-new sound wave function. It produces analogue sound that stimulates sound waves to optimise the driving experience and improve the acoustic experience inside the cabin.
