It will redefine the Pulsar segment once again. It will attract teenagers and speed hungry boys. Happy to see Bajaj is getting things right after long time. It was sad to see the rise of Honda, nothing against Honda but I feel happy when an Indian brand doing better at least in India :).

Bajaj is a VFM bike manufacture and the RS200 is gonna attract buyers. Still Who want a uncompromised engine and quality will go for cbr and who wanna set the roads on fire with style and acceleration will go for KTM. But never mind, Pulsar fan boys are there to boost up the sales. Kudos to Bajaj for bringing this product to us.

But still, I'm waiting for a made in india 250cc bike.

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets 3,500 bookings in a month

Bajaj RS200 has received over 3,500 bookings which went on sale in India on March 26, 2015. Launched as the ‘Fastest Pulsar Yet’, the RS200 is being introduced in a phased manner across regions.

The RS200 is based on the Pulsar 200 NS, but gets suitable cosmetic and mechanical changes to justify its ‘Racing Sport’ tag. The 199.5 cc single-cylinder engine features fuel injection, and hence produces 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque, giving the motorcycle a top-speed of 141 km/h. Further, the RS200 is the first offering from Bajaj to sport ABS (single-channel, Bosch-made unit).

The RS200 is priced at INR 1.18 lakhs for the non-ABS version and INR 1.3 lakhs for the ABS variant, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. Post the launch of the RS200, Bajaj Auto also introduced its new Adventure Sport range of motorcycles, the AS 150 and the AS 200. The AS series of motorcycles are also based on the 200 NS’s platform, but get a half-fairing while the RS200 is fully-faired.

Bajaj Auto estimates that it will sell 2,500 units/month of the RS200, 10,000 units/month of the AS 150 and 5,000 units a month of the AS 200.

I saw one bike on the road, a red one. Not at all impressed by the looks. In photos this looks good but on road it is very weird looking. The front and back,is a design disaster. But I do appreciate the engine and other technical updates. The 200 AS looks much better.

BS6 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Priced At Rs 1.43 Lakh

baja-pulsar-Rs-200-1280x720.jpg

As per the Bajaj dealers, the price of the 2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 BS6 model will be Rs 1,43,717, which will be only slightly higher than Rs 1,40,717 that the BS4 model commands. If true, it will be quite easy for the motorcycle to avoid any drop in popularity that might have happened due to a steeper increase in price with the BSVI update rollout. Other than getting an updated motor, the 2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 BS6 model won’t get any design or equipment update. However, the introduction of a new set of graphics and colour options can’t exactly be ruled out at this moment. Currently, the fully-faired motorcycle is sold in three engine options – Graphite Black, Racing Blue and Racing Red.

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 BS6 Launched in India; Priced At ₹ 1.45 Lakh

Bajaj Auto has launched the BS6 compliant version of the Pulsar RS200 in India. The 2020 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is priced at ₹ 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and is about ₹ 3000 more expensive than the BS4 compliant model. The updated RS200 gets no styling changes for the updated version but it is now heavier by two kilos, as a result of the new components. The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets the same mechanicals as well, but the company could introduce new graphics for the motorcycle sometime later this year to keep things fresh.
