Bajaj Platina Gets an Update!

Bajaj has introduced the new Platina 125. The new Platina 125 comes with 5 speed gear box and new set of graphics along with various other features.

The bike has a 4 stroke, natural air cooled spark ignition engine capable of delivering 8.5ps @ 7000 rpm which is about 1 ps less than before.

The new Platina 125 has been intended to enhance the riding experience by providing comfort, style and performace. The electric start version is priced at Rs. 36,000 ex showroom Bangalore.

I think in the sub-135 segment, Bajaj has to keep the pricing as a USP to challenge the might of HH!!

And in this segment most of the people will prefer a HH over other bikes!!

these guys are also following same trend like marutis, tatas in car segment.add stickers, paint wheels and wow! "New" model is prepared, utter waste. IMHO they should instead keep replacing the old models (read giving major changes) timely.

Bajaj actually suffers a negative image in the market for changing / discontinuing models very frequently, resulting in a loss of resale value.
