Bajaj Auto on Thursday announced the launch of the Chetak Premium 2023 Edition in the Indian market at Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The latest avatar of the Chetak scooter has been rolled out in fresh colour options and features that make it look more premium.
The Chetak EV has been upgraded with 'exquisite detailing and the use of premium materials', the company has said in a latest press release. The fresh colour options on the scooter include - Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue and Satin Black.
Bajaj Auto has also initiated bookings for the new scooter and promises to deliver the EV by April 2023. The new scooter comes at a fairly higher price tag in comparison to the current Chetak which costs Rs 1,21,933 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
The new Chetak has been enhanced with new colours, premium materials, and 'exquisite detailing'. Also, one of the key highlights on the new scooter include the use of a large, elegant all-colour LCD console that displays vehicle information with better clarity. The company has also introduced a premium two-toned seat, body-coloured rear view mirrors, a satin black grab rail and matching pillion footrest castings. Other updates include blacked-out headlamp casing, blinkers and central trim elements.
