Added Maisto's Ford Mustang GT in Red and a Lamborghini today. Total expense Rs. 1990/=. Purchased them from Hamleys. Here are pics of the Mustang.

Bump, do you know if Model Art in Saket has Rolls Royce and Mercedes Benz in scale model? I checked their website and liked the i8 scale model in 1/18. What do you suggest 1/18 or 1/24 for Benz and Rolls Royce?

If you want good amount of detail on model go for 1:18 or 1:12 else 1:24 . I checked their website ,they do have Rolls Royce , Mercedes and Bmw i8 but RR is priced around 15k and one model was 55k . Bmw i8 is from Paragon and comes with openable doors , bonnet and truck are sealed. I have placed order for i8 waiting for delivery , mine just started it journey from FranFurt airport today . Let's see how much time it takes and total price of car after paying shipping charges and custom duty. I am importing 3 models
1) 1/18 VW Golf Gti (Norev)
2) 1/18 Bmw i8 (Paragon)
3) 1:18 Lamborghini Gallardo Lp560-4 Super Trofeo (Autoart)

Bhai, they look expensive! 5-6K is acceptable but bigger issue than that is I do have to think how to justify the transaction via Credit Card to my dad. He'll kick me 10 times for buying 1 toy car for 15K and 55K is out of question. Dad would prefer to book a real car with 50K rupees instead of a toy car.
