I didn't know flipkart stocked scale models too! I got an email few months back saying they stock toys now, but there was no info about scale models. Thanks for your help!

Can anyone please guide me, on where to get these models in Delhi? Near Rohini is preferred.
The ‘In & Out’ stores also retail branded scale models. Just check out at some Bharat Petroleum fuel pump around.

You're welcome man.
I ordered some stuff for myself from firstcry.com & they too were good. Have plenty of scale models available in India. Flipkart has imported editions as well. Experience with Jabong & snapdeal also good, though model availability is less.
Earlier, homeshop18 too had collectibles but now the numbers have dwindled in this category. Their service is also good & I use it for other items.

BTW, I had over 250 different collectibles, cars, bikes, trucks, construction equipment etc. all which I started collecting when I was small kid. But then, we sold old house & shifted to new one in other locality hardly handful of years back and the chap who bought the old house went there with his family & before I could take away my stuff, his son took it away. [anger]

I had a Ferrari with working suspension smaller than 1:43 scale, that too was gone with its case. And the owner was so adamant that he said, why not buy new from market ? [angry] Heck, does some collectibles which I preserved for almost 20 yrs command any price ? They are priceless.

I was very sad about that but became somewhat happy later when I came to know that his quite new Innova with special number got stolen. [lol]

I'm lucky(and glad) that I saved some money from my pocket money of past months, looking to buy my first scale model now! Which one should I buy? Thinking of a Bburago Murcielago or Gallardo Spyder. (Wanted a 3-Series or Audi A4, but looks like they're rare, can't find any 1:18)

Look, if you have good budget, opt for Autoart or Kyosho. If you want to stick to regular makes, then I would strongly recommend Welly over Bburago or Maisto. Ofcourse, Bburago is better than Maisto in several models, but lambos are there in Welly. 3 series too is there in welly.
BTW, yesterday saw the latest Merc E350 sedan 1:18 for some 1700 bucks. Interested ? It's online, that also with COD payment option.

BMW 3 series is in 1:24 scale but currently out of stock. Just keep visiting this site now & then to see whether they have it back. Remember, some models sell like hot cakes [;)], so be updated.

Buy BMW 330i Welly Collection, Online Shopping For BMW 330i Welly Collection at FirstCry.com

The 1:18 Merc E350 is available, but only 1 unit left. So, best if you can buy this first before it goes out of stock. Remember, scale model is niche segment, hence getting same model later can't be assured. If you have vitamin M right now, order is right away. You have COD method too. Here's the link -

Thanks for the links and information. My parents are already against online-shopping and I've read about poor consumer-care or late-shipping about most, except flipkart. Will try to convince them to allow me. :( I hope to place order before it runs out of stock.
BTW FirstCry is offering 15% discount on model cars. [cry]

Thanks. But the link you sent me does not offer cash on delivery, so can't order.

@Mods, sorry for double post.
Getting BMW M5(silver) finally. Will get Merc next month maybe.

Go for it man, its good. Infact, I even got a scale model replaced & once cheque was sent to me for equal amount. Service is fantastic, using it for past 2 years (except Jabong, which I started using some 4 months back). Firstcry is good, & as their warehouse is in Pune, delivery is a breeze.

Go for it man, you can't experience unless you try yourself.

Thanks buddy. But I am not buying that coz I have maintained scale of 1:24.
I have made the display unit in my bedroom in glass in such a size that they fit there precisely. If it comes in 1:24, I will surely pick up.

Surprisingly there's very limited choice to choose from in 1:24, i guess a new consignment of the same has landed at our shores & may hit the market soon.

I started this hobby when I wasn't earning, so had limited Vitamin M.
Today, situation is different but scale remains the same. [lol]
I know I should have stuck with 1:18, but during earlier days, I calculated (in price) that 1 unit of 1:24 scale = 2.2 unit of 1:18 scale. :stupid:

But sure, once I get some space in house for putting these beauties, I may change the scale.

BTW, it's good to see that E350 is coming in 1:24. When it comes, please let me know.
And yes, I am desperately searching for a yacht model. If you do know where I can get one, please let me know. I have reserved a place for it.
