Anti pinch system has the sensors on the module where any obstacle that comes within the auto up would cutoff the system and window would stop going upwards anymore and would stop there.
These is a common feature found on the high end cars and even now many new cars in all categories are being sold with such feature.
If i remember its a mendatory feature in european market. Not very sure about US market though.

Tell them you are not buying the kit since it does not have ant-pinch feature, & as more & more customers demand they will eventually add the product with that feature. You can wait & install at that time when they do start selling such a product. downside is you have to use regular rollup windows until then, plus point is you deferred an expense until then !

On a side note just like I thought there might be a lot of people might not even know about this feature or what the purpose might be or the risks involved!
Will talk to the accessories guy on this. I am not sure if after market 4 door power windows kits will ever come with features like this even if i wait a long time.[confused]

I agree with you buddy most of the people don't even know about this feature and rest of people don't even care about safety. Which is reflected by one of my thread dedicated to car safety.

So just curious, what did you finally do about? Did you find a kit with the anti pinch feature? I think it should be available.

Both are 2 diff. things Auto power up means, you press the buttons for a sec or 2 and the window would roll up at its own. Auto pinch would cut the power supply as soon as it senses something in the way of window up track.

My ride has this(auto up) but only driver side, so chances are least of any issue due to it. Where as all windows are auto down.

In my ride also only driver side has auto-power up feature. But doesn't have anti-pinch feature.[confused]
