Day 4 (January 14)
BTW, initially, I was not confident whether I can manage to reach Wayanad from Chennai without a break. So I have planned my trip with a halt at Mysore. While returning, I was a bit confident, so I cancelled Mysore halt and drove back straight from Wayanad to Chennai.
Hi Karthikkrish.
Wonderful trip on 4 Days.
How was your drive back to Chennai, straight from Wayanad? You abruptly closed the voyage. I feel, you could have segmented into each day.
You showed a picture of 'puttu' & 'kadala' curry. If you want to enjoy that breakfast, you must chew slowly and eat. You could adopt that here in this travelogue. Anyway, nice pictures.
Hi,
It was really well written about the Trip with even the stay details.
Whenever you fill fuel to your Car or Bike, Kindly have a look at the meters. There were some Fuel Pump, where they do regularly.

Yes, I was bit confident in driving directly back from Wayanad to Chennai. I started by 9:00am and reached Chennai by 9:00pm (nearly 650km), BTW, I drive within 100kmph. by 3:45pm in evening I took one break @ hosur McDonalds for Lunch.
I though of writing it day by day, but I guess very little people will have patience to read it, thanks for your encouragement.
Yes, its not that easy to eat "puttu and kadala curry" I wouldn't able eat it fully.

The next time you plan to visit Wayanad, you can try this route. You avoid the bangalore part completely.
If you refer the map, I have been on the Thaly-Denkanikotai road, Rayakottai-Krishnagiri road. This route takes you to the panchpalli reservoir.
