Alloy Wheels for Honda Civic

Hello all,
one of my friend is going to buy a civic, after that he want to change the tyre size to 17 or 18, will it reduce the stability or performance of the vehicle.

17 Inchers are Recommended!

18 " will surely decrease the stability & performance of the vehicle!

You can upsize to 205/50 R17.

Whenever you upsize the tyres, the difference in circumference should be lesser than 2%

indian civic has a taller profile/aspect ratio compared to the one sold in japan & thailand.

reason? the roads here would hurt the alloy wheel & suspension if the profile is low. so you would be compromising on ride comfort & also bearing the risk of cracking the alloy wheel if its hits a bump or pothole too hard.

Upsizing th wheel by one inch wont make much difference, Infact it enhances the looks as well as performance.
