I got one of them, replaced twice and now got the refund.

Really ? See how one of the best mobile manufactures given me faulty phone twice then why nokia is not bad? Which is now MS.
I am using canvas HD since February and it works as a gem. And looking ta my phone about 30+ friends in my circle bought canvas phones and they are equally happy.
I really don't understand mentality of people (Expensive means good and cheap affordable means bad)
Na. it was about him generalising that all lava,Xolos, MMX , intex phones go bad after 6 months.

i was only replying in that context.

my sister too uses a canvas 2 and it has been running problem free with various custom ROms installed and it still works as new.

The full specs of the Nokia Lumia 525 has leaked, and it shows the device is a significant upgrade over the Nokia Lumia 520, at least when it comes to RAM, which is important in making sure the most popular Windows Phone can also access 100% of the applications written for the OS.

The specs, leaked via a Chinese Baidu site, shows the handset has 1 GB of RAM vs the 512 in the Nokia Lumia 520 but otherwise has an identical screen, camera, size, weight and battery capacity.

While the upgrade may appear conservative I believe it addresses the biggest issue with the handset, which will hopefully mean the device will be even more successful.

See the specs after the break.

Microsoft News | Nokia Working On A 8-inch Windows RT Tablet Codenamed ‘Illusionist’

Nokia announced its first 10-inch Windows RT tablet Lumia 2520 at Nokia World last month. The device will go on sale this month for $499. Today, @evleaks posted that Nokia is working on a 8-inch Windows RT tablet codenamed ‘Illusionist’. If this happens to be true, then this upcoming 8-inch tablet will compete against rumored Microsoft’s Surface 8-inch tablet just like how Lumia 2520 and Surface 2 are in the market. Nokia ‘Illusionist’ will sport the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 1080p display with support for Stylus and will run on Windows RT 8.1 according to various reports. It should be priced around $349 – $399 to compete against iPad Mini Retina display. Source: @evleaks ...

To those who do not know. Windows 8.1 RT & Windows 8.1 is different. Many software may not work in RT (Even firefox browser is not supported in RT). Some tablet, you wont be able to use Dongle (TataPhoton, reliance netconnect, !dea netsetter, MTS, Aircel internet etc). If you think it works same like Windows7 or 8, you may be wrong.

My friend got a Lenovo 11.6 Yoga Netbook. from croma thinking that it is just like any other windows. Later he realized that he could not connect to any 3g dongle as the hardware was missing, could not install browser like firefox etc. It is powered by Nvdia Processor. He is kind of feeling bad with the purchase and trying a way to sell it. I loved it. There is a 3g to wifi dongle from Huawei which converts 3g dongle to a wifi hotspot.

This info is only for those who could not differentiate the OS by look.

Windows rt is a Microsoft 's answer to iOS and android . The only difference between a windows rt 8.1 and windows 8.1 is that the rt can't run x86 apps . The only apps that can be installed are via store .
BMW he can still RDP .

Your friend seems never did any research before buying it . It would have been better he would have bought a acer w5 which is a tablet which is based on x86 , he could have done possibly everything he can do on a laptop or a desktop .

Flipkart was selling the product at 54000. Croma was selling for 30K. And, he is more into presentation kind of guy whose main concern was internet on the go.

Later I suggested him E355 Wifi Dongle Data Card which can work in his laptop.

The Acer is 54K and definitely out of his budget ! He wanted something slim, fast, cheap, good looking etc etc. I still feel the price he paid 29990 is a great price for 11.6" TAB any time!
