Re: Nokia Lumia Series Smartphones Discussions and Experiences
We’ve got the Nokia Lumia 625 and one of the joys of this big screen smartphone is the 5-Megapixel camera with Full HD video recording. We took it out on a bright sunny day at Airbourne 2013 to check out ow effective the camera and video capture is on this Windows Phone 8 budget smartphone.
The Nokia Lumia 625 is built around a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with a standard 800 x 480-pixel resolution. It comes with a curved glass screen, Gorilla Glass 2 and super-sensitive touch technology for use with nail and gloved hands.
The Nokia Lumia 625 is the largest Lumia to-date and comes with an overall size of 133.25 x 72.25 x 9.15mm and weight of just 159g.
The screen is on the big size but we found the phone compact enough to hold up for long periods without it being a burden.
The big screen makes it an ideal viewfinder and we found that when taking photos and recording video even on the brightest sunny day, we could see what was going on – try doing that with a lesser smartphone and see how much you can make out on the display.
When it comes to camera skills, the Nokia Lumia 625 is fitted with a 5-Megapixel camera that offers LED Flash and autofocus. As well as support for such Nokia Lumia exclusive apps as Cinemagraph , Panorama, Smart Camera and Nokia Glam Me, you’ll find that it also comes with a VGA front-facing camera.
However, what makes the Nokia Lumia 625 stand-out from the other smartphones in its price range is the fact that it comes with Full HD 1080p video recording at 30fps, which is pretty remarkable considering this phone costs less than £180 (inc. VAT) on PAYG deals.
