can someone explain me what is difference in 3m scotchguard and 3m clear bra?

both are touted at paint protection film but clear bra is MUCH cheaper and DIY option.

3M Car Care @ Noida Sector-10

Friends,

3M's 1st outlet in Noida has been opened now at A-4 Sector 10 Noida. The outlet had been inaugurated on Sunday i.e 07th August. The best part being for those who had no options but to run to Delhi Outlets of 3M all the way from Ghaziabad, Noida, East Delhi, Indrapuram et al now can easily avail the 3M services from this outlet. It does provide all the listed services of 3M. I visited the outlet today even though I had the inauguration invite. So upon reaching, surprise surprise!

I can actually not believe that my school friend, a neighbor for 16 years (we live in same sector) is the Director of the outlet. We met today after 14 long years since I left my earlier school in 2002 after 10th. Both of us studied in same standard, same age-group, same coaching center and today when we met, it was Nostalgic indeed. We shared a lot of our old time stories and he told me he's now settled as well. I am actually truly happy to see my friend progress so nicely. When we greeted each other today, it was a pleasant surprise for us both. Its indeed a small world!

Now coming to the outlet, it is a well spaced out outlet with proper working bays. I shall be availing the services after the monsoon but would visit my friend sometime soon. I am sharing a few pics of the outlet along with the contact details.

Many heartily congratulations to you friend Ranpreet for his new 3M Car Care centre. I think this is the first 3M outlet in Uttar Pradesh. Well, wish if there was a outlet here in lucknow as well. Only Carz Spa and Speed Car Wash are available here as of now.

Wow 3M is opening outlets on a roll. An outlet recently opened in Dwarka, New Delhi as well. And good to see the nice facilities on the list.


No services were tried so how come its a review? I came to the thread to see the quality of work or something. Sorry if it is OT.

Eventually there will be service review of the outlet. It would rather be soon so don't you worry. Moreover, I did not mean to waste the forum space by running two parallel threads on same topic in different sections. That would make readers feel confused in long run.

You will definitely see a huge difference in the Interior cleaning especially. I used to do it at 3M (till my package expired a few months ago), once every 3-4 months.

I decided not go to 3M car care. 3600INR was simply too steep for me.

There were some stains on the fabric. Used diluted rin soap, soft cloth and scrubbed away all the stains. Things have cleaned up.

I am thinking of availing the interior clean at the service centre again and see the quality again.

I have been to 3M Chembur, when I had the Alto (2 years back). It had too many scratch marks and paint looked old. All my friends used to ask me to repaint the car. I decided to take it to 3M and get Interior and exterior done. After the job, the car was transformed from old car to a fairly new looking car. The car still shines (new owner posts pic on Facebook so I get to know). The owner is a good fellow. Quality of work is excellent, you wont regret taking a old dull looking car to 3M. If the car is already OK, then no point in wasting the money, not much to gain. I just keep waxing the Altis to keep it shiny. For interior - soap, soft cloth and scrubbing is sufficient. As per my experience ASS are expensive + unreliable people, 3M are Expensive, but experienced and reliable people.
