because i think they have sensors outside so they can detect. I mean my ACC automatically adjust the AC if it is hot and it starts to rain, then it reduces automatically.
not that. i mean how can it divide interiors of car and adjust different temp. setting for each person?

i dont think it has per person, though the Merc E class has personal ACC per person, i think that is also because of many individual sensors.

Its just that you are provided with 2 different temperature settings- one for the left vents (2 left vents on the dash & the left vent of rear seat) & the other for the right vents (2 right vents on the dash & right vent of rear seat).

if the left passenger is feeling cold, he can adjust the temperature of his vents (left) to a higher temperature setting. this is in a dual zone ACC.

Some high end cars even have 4 zone ACC - left front, left rear, right front (driver) & right rear. all four zones have their independent controls for temperature adjustment.

Hey K!NkY, can you please give me more details regarding the same.
There is a product called 'Drive smart available in India. It will maintain the cabin temperature at the preset level. If you are a DIY enthusiast you can achieve a similar or even better setup with sensors for external temperature, rain etc using Arduino Uno or any similar DIY electronics kit.
