Maintenance Cost for my Ford Fiesta

1. First Service @ 2500 kms
Total Bill: Rs 0
Service done at Akshaya Ford, Tirunelveli

2. Second Service @ 10000 kms
Total Bill: Rs 2362 /-
Service done at Kairaili Ford, Trivandrum

slowly and steadily the amount is increasing every 6 months.

27/8/12 free : Rs 0
18/1/13 paid : Rs 1351

[clap] Appreciate this thread folks, One of my friend claims that he knows much about cars ( or maybe he do ).
1.)He had an i20 ( 1st Gen) he clamies basic serivce for i20 diesel costs him around 12,000 Rupee .
2.)Same friend now-a-days driving Amaze i-Dtec claims that 50,000KMS service will cost him around 40,000 to 50,000 Rupee :eek: .
3.)Again same person says Etios Diesel service for 50,000KMS will be around 3,000 - 4,000 Rupee .
4.)Same guy looking at my fiesta said Ford's are cheap to maintain when compared to Honda's ( Hope its true).
Slightly OT the same dear friend say's there's nothing as Turbo idle he had confirmed from honda, MB , audi , nissan , ford , maruti.

Fiat Linea maintenance cost

Guys can anyone share their experice on maintenance cost of fiat Linea diesel and cost of spare part of the vehicle.since i am serously considering one for my brother a Preowned one

I recently did my bolero 10,000 km servicing and my engine oil and oil filter were not changed. Those had been changed on 5,000 km servicing. When I asked about those not being changed. I was told that after 5,000 km servicing, engine oil and oil filter will be changed on 20,000 km servicing. Won't it hamper the engine?? The engine has to run on the same oil for 15,000 km. If anyone knows, do help me out.

Best is to check the service manual you got with your car. Follow all the things mentioned in it. Did mahindra service personnel told you all this ? If so maybe he's right. Now a days many cars follows 10000km interval so maybe for bolero it's 15000kms. Best would be to check the manual. Keep us posted.

Yes, he told me. I did the servicing like two weeks before and I asked during that time. I went today at Mahindra Servicing Centre and asked about it again. He again said that on 10,000 km servicing engine oil and oil filter won't be changed. It will be change on 20,000 km servicing.

No worries at all. It is recommended interval of oil change by mahindra just follow what is mention in manual. If u wish u can change oil outside or at mahindra ASS but it will not do any harm nor any good [:D].
I am having vento tdi service interval 15000km or a year and cost incurred 8-10k per service and after every six months or 7500km oil topup is required which takes away 1.1k.

Well then don't worry. And yeah the polo also follows 15k interval like golu said. No need to worry.

I checked the manual book this morning and it states that the engine oil and oil filter are to be changed on 20,000 km. Thank you Team for your concern. I appreciate it. This is what I like the most about our TAIgers.

Its always better to mug up the manual on the first day of purchase. Then before every service you need to revise it. I don't go for service until I am sure what all needs to be done. This has saved me many times. Like oil filter was not replaced after first service of my bike. I made sure I somehow get it done. Nobody can fool you if you go prepared.

My 1.5 year Old Beat LT Petrol was services first time as PAID. No oil change. Just general servicicng & check up costed my @ 1700 Rs
