Hi guys

I will be buying a new Swift dezire LDI This sunday

I need to buy the following things

1) Power windows ( budget aroound 10k)
2) Security system (Budget 5k)
3) Good music system ( Budget 15k)
4) Reverse parking sensors
5) Map system is reasobly priced.
6) Fridge system i dont know much though

Please tell which brands and model should i go for and also some good reliable and well priced shops in North Delhi ?????????????

1) Power windows ( budget aroound 10k)

Are you looking for two or four power windows? You can negotiate with the dealer and buy four MGA power windows in this budget.

2) Security system (Budget 5k)

Go with the AutoCop or Minda car alarm. If possible to stretch the budget then buy a car tracking system. It's never advisable to compromise on car security.

4) Reverse parking sensors

Firstly become familiar with the car and check whether you really require reverse parking sensors? I think four sensors from Xenos should cost around Rs.5,000.

5) Map system is reasobly priced.

Map My India Road Pilot range starts from Rs.8,000 onwards. Just go through their website for more details.

Please tell which brands and model should i go for and also some good reliable and well priced shops in North Delhi ????

I cannot recommend specific shops but check out reputed outlets like Carnation or Reliance Auto Zone for installation.

PS: Note that installation of certain accessories from outside can void the car warranty. Please confirm with the dealer before proceeding.

Yes, dealer will charge higher but there’s always a scope for negotiation. Power windows, security system, and reverse sensors can most likely void the warranty.

350 Sir i saw one good shop in rajouri garden who i though i will go for.
Now i am again confused what to do.
plz tell me good shop in north delhi who does proper work without cutting wires. :(

Sorry I don't have idea about a reliable shop in that region. It's been a few years since I installed something on my car. Although from past experience, I feel Carnation is a bunch of professionals who should be able to work on the car accessories without a fuss.

Stick to the OE power windows only, get it done from the dealer. No idea about the current price for Swift. Paid 8k for our friend's Wagon-R (4 power windows) 2 years back (after a looong negotiation)

2) Security system (Budget 5k)

Autocop should be available within your budget

3) Good music system ( Budget 15k)

No idea here

4) Reverse parking sensors

Autocop 4 sensor - 3k

5) Map system is reasobly priced.

MMI starts from 8k

6) Fridge system i dont know much though

DO you really need this?

Why is maruti website not showing prices of accesories for dezire?

DD motors qouting 13k for Nippon power windows .............
and saying if installed from outside it will viod warranty

Sounds reasonable, try to bargain again.
Yes, after market PW voids warranty (Common across all OEMs)

So, he mean to say that people use Windows as emergency exits?
That's a foolish answer I suppose. This answer is partially applicable for central locking. I agree a manual window has some advantages in case of emergency (take for example a fire accident with passengers inside) but then, why is it applicable only for the rear?

I would suggest to try with some other dealer.
