The noise is not coming from A/C vent, but from the bonet.

Have you tried unhooking the battery terminals overnight? If not then you should try that. This will reset the ecu and put it back to factory defaults.

Your cars mileage is more than 50k kms there are lot of wear and tear components that need to be replaced. Did you check the ac belt and pulley kit that connects to the engine. When was the car last serviced? You might need to check the radiator and ac pump valve. I remember my friends ikon had this issue.

Thanks for the reply,
No, I didn't check the ac belt & pulley kit.
The car was serviced last week.
I will also get the radiator and ac pump valve checked.

No, I haven't done that.
But how will this help in solving the noise problem?

It could help solve the severe drop in performance that you face.

You need to get the car serviced according to your owners manual.Checking each and every component for wear and tear and then changing the ones that need replacing.

Do you get your car serviced at a ford authorized service station or a ford dealer or do you get it done a local mechanic?

I got the service done from Carnation, as I purchased from them, in Nov. 2012. I got its 1st free service done last week.
I will get this issue checked.

Don't go about the service as though the car is new(sorry to say this)Go about getting the service done on a car that has done 50000 kms.

Check your owners manual and check the things that need to be replaced at that mark/interval.Check the previous owners bills if you have received them and check what parts were changed and at what interval.

You need to get the parts inspected/replaced based on the km interval.Check the manual and see what it says about the AC and the suspension components at the 50000km mark and get those parts changed or checked accordingly.

Hey I would suggest going to ford service and have your car checked and serviced. This might fix issues and might reduce your onwership cost in future.
