@ renegade: each kit consists of two air springs for the rear wheels. so if you want front air suspension too, you will need 2 kits per bus.

I always wanted to know what kind of mileage do these buses,trucks give ?

its gives 3 to 3.5 kmpl on open roads (highways) in kerela, 3.75 kmpl if driven cautiously.

It depends on the driving style again :-).

An average driver can fetch 4.5-5.5 kmpl from bus!

Not sure about trucks!

@ zinam: i have spoken to many many drivers in kerela buddy. nobody gets average above 4 kmpl in buses, its close to impossible according to them. even the company claims 4 kmpl with the full body built. and companies are known to brag about FE figures always! and these are FE figures in kerela where traffic is very less & roads are open most of the times.

a bus driver in mumbai told me that he gets around 2.5 to 3.5 kmpl!!! anyways, i will give you the correct figures once the bus arrives & starts running.

it will be a complete ownership report as in every other thread in this forum!

oh!! its nice to hear your experiences.

But in chennai, almost all buses get mileage of 4.5kmpl, Few rash drivers gets 3.5 - 4!

the ones on the sides are not mine.

the colour & the design of both the buses will be same (to maintain uniformity!).
