Boss, as well let me know how well does the front disk brake from pulsar fit the RX. I'd love to do the same during my renovation of RX as well.

Are you aware of any good service centres that could renovate my 15 yr old Yamaha 135? Need to do a FC in 3 months time. Right time to keep it new.
I remember reading someone got the RX restored from authorised showroom (CBE) Let me try to recall.

Old pulsar (Classic, the one came with spokes wheel) front end is direct fit on RX T-Stem. I'm using the same.

After (successfully) restoring 3 RX, it's time to secure the spares for future. Every nut & bolt that is removed from the bike is cleaned and stored.

Unpacked all the spared box to identify what is available and understand what is required.

Hello Mr. Boss, your attention to details is mindbogglingly, and storing so many used & unused parts, besides being time consuming must be quite exhilarating.

OT, how does your family take this restoration madness? [;)], I just did one restoration and wife nearly called in the lawyer.[lol]

Regards

Vinod

Getting genuine spares these days are getting little difficult and the situation may turn worse in future. We are left with no better option than storing for the future.

OT, how does your family take this restoration madness?
Multiple commitments & compliments were made as compensation [;)]

Sorry guys i have come across this thread very late.

hafirangi & Mr.Boss you guys are just insane. I am just jealous of you guys.

If i ever come across your RX*** i am gonna rob'em off.

Excellent restoration. The Blue and Brown Beauty just looks gorgeous. I would rate it 11/10 as it looks better than showroom condition. Trolling the post from page one i was in love with Blue beauty then got baffled by the Brown one.

And Hats off to your dedication, i am planning to buy RX*** since last couple of years but its still a plan as its not getting approved by better half.

Thanks,
satyajeet
