Škoda Slavia Style 1.0L MT: Ownership Review

First service of the Slavia was recently done at Jai Auto (Delhi) and unfortunately, the experience was below average. I’m sharing below some of the points which I’ve also mailed to Skoda India Customer Care:

Upon mailing Skoda Customer Care, Jai Auto has assured to resolve the pending issues including car cleaning and sunroof lubrication at home.

Cost 3770/- . I reached service centre at 09:30, service was over by 11:30

Your service centre looks like a decent one. Service charges are reasonable too. Can you share the split charges? Does your car produce the loud screeching noise from the front brakes? I’m told it’s a common issue in Slavia.

All 1.0 cars MT/AT produce break Noise. Not sure about 1.5. New car produces more Noise. After one year it produces Noise when wet.

Came to know through a facebook post that SMP was free under some offer for Skoda Slavia purchased during Oct 23 to Mar 24. Mine was also bought during this period and myskodaplus app shows 4 year SMP active but dealer charged me for 1st service.
Anyone knows about it?
