Stanley rotary hammer drill is quite exciting! It's a must to have, for a DIYer.It passes through masonry like butter. My regular hammer drill took a lot of time and push to do the same job, done by rotary hammer in seconds! Yours is high wattage,1250 watts,as well as high capacity(32mm) too. I like it.
I have a similar taparia tool box.Its 19 inches one.Very handy and sturdy,as well as light to move around.

I have already posted them here:My favourite tool boxes. Interested members can peek at that link.

Yep, it cuts through wall like butter but my machine is not only powerful, it also weights 5.4kg! (Box 7.5kg) I have practice with heavy power tools like router and car polishing machine and this rotary hammer is very heavy to handle. Still I have managed to drill holes on ceiling for IP camera installation. [glasses]

I have done lot of manual chiseling work (i.e concealed wiring in my home) and every time I wished for chiseling machine. Now that I have got it, my work will be faster and easier hereafter. [:)]

How come you got the drill so economical? 32 mm one retails for much higher.
This model has been in market since many years and it normal sells for 8k on many online stores. I got bank discounts and cashback to make it a good deal. Several months ago I had ordered same machine on moglix but after waiting for weeks, they refunded my money as they couldn't send the item.

Even though it has 32mm max drilling capacity for concrete, I don't think it safe to drill such a large diameter holes using this machine. The body of the machine could turn around and cause serious injuries. However, it is safe to use any size chiseling bits.

How come there are only 3 modes on the switch? Usually in such capacity hammers there are 4 different modes.

At Least in my machine these are the modes:
1) Only drilling
2) Drilling + Hammer
3) Only Hammering
4) Only Chieselling

Picture also depicts same.

At present the selector switch is pointing towards Only Drilling mode.

I can also select the chisel mode to be mobile OR Non Mobile ie fixed.

@mayankdixit

Oh this mode (round arrow on chisel bit sign) is used for chisel angle adjustment because in chisel mode the bit is locked. However you shouldn't run the machine in this mode as it will damage inner parts.

Some drilling machines have this mode. In my machine I'll have to set hammer drilling mode to twist the bit and then switch to chisel mode.

Hammer sign is actually chiselling mode.

Yes you are correct, about that mode.
I have never been able to use the full capacity of this machine. But I am happy in the comfort and backup power it provides.
This weighs 4.7kgs.

I have read manuals of different rotary hammer drills at the time of purchasing and I learnt about that 4th mode. You can check manual of your machine for confirmation.

Is it Bosch rotary drill?

That's a very versatile tool you have. Will come in very handy when going on a trek, or on a camping in the outback, in the jungle etc.
It will equally prove useful in home. It's like a swiss army knife.
Where did you get it from?
