There can be two versions for this :

Either they have fixed the issue and lubricated the whole system for good. Else, Yes they are waiting for your warranty to get over.

I don't think that you'll get this part changed for free once the warranty is over. They surely will come up with some blah blah blah.

Do one thing, Do check whether they have fixed it or not. If the problem persists , ESCALATE the issue to higher levels !!
Thanks for the reply vishnu.
I'm closely keeping a eye if the problem occurs once again.
My standard warranty is ending in a couple of months. Although I've got two years extended warranty for my drive. Hope everything will work out well.

Great! And if the problem still persists, I would suggest you to get it done before your standard warranty exhausts. You know, just in case [evil]

Initially when I was trying to wrap it, it does tends to peel off from edges. Then I heated the vinyl a bit before applying it. Fits perfectly and since then it sticks nicely.

I just cant understand why Hondacars India ltd keeps silent about the extended warranty coverage.
They only provide the details of parts that the extended warranty is exempted. And they put an "etc" at the end of the list. God knows what all things they might include in that "etc"[confused][confused]
Check out the extend of infoation that is provided by Honda dealers of other countries.

Cool !! Thanks for the information[:)]

Sorry ,for the late reply,i think it may be slight off topic,Is amaze full EPS steering or Hydraulic -semi electronic ?
EPS

Hi, Its a fully electrical Unit. Hydro Electric Unit only present in CR-V.
Thanks HaruH for the clarification. I too was a bit confused and was checking the manuals for a clear cut idea, but nothing helped.

Great !! Where as we don't get any such offers here[frustration]

Was waiting in Traffic signal and a Grandpa in an Activa squeezed in through the gap between divider and my car and this happened. Was so frustrated cause he was pretty sure that he's not gonna make it even though he tried and this happened[frustration]

I kept my Temper respecting his age [cry]

There is a small dent/ding on the right rear door and a big long scratch.

Hey Vishnu! Sorry to see this scratches. It really hurts. I will suggest you to go for side beading. You may think its of no use because of the design in Amaze(The curve projects outside), but the one available in market is of triangle shaped which even projects out of this curve. Will post photos soon. Try those which costs only Rs. 750

Small DIY update

Since I've already updated the Missing Hub Caps on My Lenso's and buying them separately is a very costly affair (approx 1000 rs/hubcap)[frustration],though of leaving the rear alloys without hubcaps whereas I put the remaining caps on both the front wheels. On the long run it started to show some rust around the rear hub area. It was an eye sore and thought to fix it asap!

Bought a can of Matt Black Paint and Flat clear coat for the matte finish and extra protection .

Before

IMG_20161101_105148037_HDR.jpg

Sanded down with light sanding paper

Cleaned the drum after sanding with rubbing alcohol .

All masked up and first coat applied. (Newbie on painting)

It's the right time to clean up your dusty wheels

Cleaned inside out!

Third and final coat !
IMG_20161101_115859910.jpg

Noticed rust on the inside of alloys.

IMG_20161101_120426706.jpg

Sanded it.

Masked

After two coats

End Result :)

Similarly done the other side too

Before

After

The Main reason why I bought a Flat Clear was to apply on this particular alloy. This is the one which was damaged on my Bangalore trip and it's being mended and back in use. The shop which I've gave this alloy for painting did a shabby job and they didn't even applied the clear coat. It looked slightly indifferent once washed and Alloy Gel is applied.

Final Overall Look. The Lug Nut's are up for a change real soon[embarass]

Can anyone suggest me a wheel cup for my Amaze EMT. I have tried few, but not able to fix it.
I believe all wheel cups of the same size would snatch on easily. What difficulty are you facing ?

Came out really nice ✌
Indeed, Thanks to You man for being an extra hand in helping me out[:D]

Any idea how to fix central console rattles? The ones with cup holders in the front?
It can either be the wire's running under the centre console or the lock which they are held together vibrating. You have to remove the centre console carefully and check for loose wiring that jumped out of the rubber guide bushes . If that's not helping then you should try keeping small amount of damp mat or double side tape on the areas where it get's locked each other. It should help [:)]
