OMG ! its been nearly 6 months now i paid the booking amount . After 3 months there was a hike of 3k . Then again after 2 months there was a hike of 2k . so as u say now , the 3rd hike comes again in next 3 months. so HONDA is hiking the prices by 0.5 % to 1 % for every 3 months on an average . This is not a fair practice HONDA[anger]
Maybe they are hiking prices to add some extra damping to the car :biggrin:

For HU go for Pioneer AVH-5590BT. It costs 22-23k i guess. Comes with 7" screen and all features are available. For speakers i would suggest a good 6.5" components in front and 6X9 coaxial speakers in rear both powered by a 4 channel amplifier. If you have budget i can suggest appropriate models for you. Or else you can go for coaxial speakers for both front and rear. Basically depends on the budget you have.

Sankar

1) I've gone for the root's windtone :) works fine . DIY on the first pages of this thread
2)Checkout Snapdeal.com with the prices and what Sankaranarayanan mentioned is a nice HU.
3)Component's on the front and rear, there is a problem with the rear speaker's, stock is 4" and there is a metal rod passing exactly through the bottom of speaker's magnet, so any upgrading the speaker size will make the magnet touch on the rod, Will be finding out a way soon[;)]
4)DIY [:D]
5)all car accesories shop's have them right ? Don't go for the Leather one's
7) I don't know anything about chennai

I too own Amaze VX i-DTEC. has the NVH improved to Maruti Desire levels after this treatment? What was the total cost?

2.7k + some hard work and a few hours [:D][;)]

Hey Vishu,

Is the NVH levels that much of an issue in Amaze?

Gr8!! You should join Honda engineering team!! This makes the car almost perfect in its class!

Also my car just completed 6 months but i have only did 3000 km yet. According to compnay 3rd service is at 10k km or 6 months. Since i only did 3k km should i wait for another 2-3 months or do the 3rd service now? If i delay it will it impact the reliability of the car?
What all things will be changed in 3rd service?
