udChalo, a consumer tech firm for the armed forces, has launched an electric bicycle named VirBike. It’s available for ₹25,995 for the armed forces and ₹27,995 for the rest of India.
  • The name “Vir” is inspired by V=IR which is Ohm's law in Physics. It also means someone who is ‘brave’ and ‘courageous’.
  • The bicycle is lightweight and IP rated 65 and 67. It comes with an option to personalize by stickering your defence service ID.
  • The e-bike is claimed to enable a soldier save upto ₹15 Lakh throughout his career because of being affordable and low maintenance.
  • udChalo VirBike comes with a one-year warranty and the company has an extensive network of service centers across the country.
  • There are defence-inspired color options to choose from: Army Olive Green, Naval White, Air Force Blue, Commando Black and Infantry Grey.
