After months of waiting, Toyota Kirloskar Motor India has finally launched the Urban Cruiser Taisor in India. This new badge-engineered model is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. To differentiate it from the Fronx, Toyota has given it a number of design changes. Toyota has commenced the bookings of this crossover.
Starting off with the exterior design details. We all are aware that the Urban Cruiser Taisor is based on the Fronx. So naturally it shares the same overall body shape and proportions. However, Toyota has managed to provide the Taisor with a number of design updates to differentiate it from the Fronx.
At the front, the Taisor gets a different-looking front fascia. It gets new and more sleek-looking twin-strike LED DRLs. In addition, the main LED headlight setup of the Taisor has also been changed. Apart from these, the grille is also different and gets a honeycomb pattern finished in high gloss black.
Coming to the side profile, the main highlight is the addition of new machined alloy wheels. The Taisor gets a set of 16-inch alloy wheels. Apart from this, we can note that the silhouette is exactly the same as the Fronx.
Moving on to the rear apart from the slight change in the design of the LED taillight. Not much has been changed by Toyota. It gets the same connected LED strip in the middle as well. Apart from this, the rear also gets a massive skid plate just like we see on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
