Tata Tiago Service Cost

For the 3rd free service of my Tata Tiago, I have been quoted 4500+Tax. The details are:
Engine oil filter-2000
Air filter-450
Wheel Alignment-550
Wheel Balancing-550+200
Car lubricator-450
Front Brake cleaner-300
AC filter-free
Total-4500 + tax
Is the cost justified? This is our first car.,so keen to know about it.
Help would be appreciated.

Get an AMC. Your service costs for two years will be covered under it. The gold AMC costs around 8000 Rs. It also covers wear and tear parts like clutch, brake pad etc. Ask your S.A..

Dont get the lubricator and front brake cleaner. No need for it. Get the ac filtet cleaned.

If you want to save money get alignment done from a reputed shop outside.

Shouldn't these 3 items be free considering its a free service? The cost seems high to me. I would be going in for 3rd free service next month.

Alignment balancing is never a part of PMS. They will clean the pads for free if you report them to be noisy else they will charge it.
I don't think engile oil and filter will cost around 2k. Should be less than 1.5k.

Air filter is not required to be changed during third service, just cleaning would do and is part of free service. Wheel alignment and balancing are extremely costly for the quality of work they do in ASCs. You are better off doing those at reputed wheel/tire shops. Car lubircator is a way of looting from uninformed customers. As answered earlier, brakes need not be cleaned unless there are any issues reported.

Alignment balancing is never a part of PMS.

@AHC, I personally know many owners who were charged only for wheel weights during free services, irrespective of AMC. I am starting to think TML has begun milking customers off late. I wish I am wrong.

I agree oil and filter should not cost 2K, attaching a recent invoice from Facebook Atom Club:
Oil: 1136
Filter: 93
Total: 1229

I am not sure why taxes are missing from this, may be due to AMC.
