Hello experts,

I'm looking for a Reverse Parking sensor for my Honda City iVTEC.
Requirement: 4 sensor system without Camera.

Can you recommend some brands that i should consider.
I checked at different Honda Dealers, but all of them have different brands of these systems and all claim that the brand they have is Honda Authorized.
I stumbled upon the following three at different dealers:
- AutoCop : Rs 6,500/- (4 sensors, Additional rear view mirror with audio)
- 3D Plus : Rs 4,500/- (4 sensors, Additional rear view mirror with audio)
- Torque: Rs 5,500/- (4 sensors, Additional rear view mirror with audio)

I'm looking for feedback in terms of:
- Sensor quality (as i need to get these sensors painted RED)
- Distance from which the sensors start indicating
- Quality of audio/beeps
- Display on the rear view mirror

Another headache is the price at the dealers. I enquired about these sensors in Market and am getting Autocop reverse sensors at around 3,500/-.
But will that be a good idea to get it fitted from outside.
(I had a bad experience while getting Central locking fitted from outside. My SRS lamp got activated and had to visit the Honda Workshop, only to find that a sensor under driver seat was activated during the installation).
Only compelling part is that the dealers are charging almost 50% more for same brand.

Cheers,
Pankaj

the showroom guys charge very high. and no worries go to reliance auto zone in ambience mall gurgaon. they will fit it without any problem.

since you did not have a good experience from local shops that's why i suggested you reliance autozone. they will have different brands as well hopefully.

don't get it done from the showroom.

I have booked Honda City Diesel SV Model and will be getting delivery in march.
I have few questions on front and reverse parking sensors and Camera. We have Indica and I have difficulty estimating front side. So, would like to install front Sensors and reverse Camera & sensors

Dealer is quoting 13500 for Xenos Video parking system. This doesn't have front sensors.
If I get it installed from reliance autozone or outside, will it effect the warranty? If not, I will get the complete set from outside. Other than Reliance, any other trusted accessory shop in Secunderabad/Hyderabad?

[surprise] Price quoted is atleast 40% higher than market price.
Out of these 3 I used Autocop and pretty much satisfied with the quality and accuracy.

But I would suggest you to have a look at the one with separate display (not the one mounted on IRVM)

Disadvantages of IRVM mount type:
- No more Day/Night facility of IRVM
- Added weight --> increased vibration --> Blured image
- Possibilities of rattle noise

Forgot to mention, I used AutoCop IRVM mount type in my City & my brother's Civic + Beat and Torque separate display type in my Linea. Of these my vote goes to the 2nd one.
