Reverse Camera For Maruti Suzuki Swift

Hi All,

I am from Kerala (Kochi) and I am looking to buy a reverse camera + Display(Dashboard one) for my car.

Can anyone suggest a good brand.

Would require good clarity during night and should be water proof.

I was looking at Autocop but difficult to get certain models in Kochi.

Any other brand which we can check and if possible anything online.

Maruti dealer stores supplies Nippon reverse parking camera.

I have fitted Reverse Parking Camera (Nippon RPAS 80) for my Alto K10 but this is fitted on IRVM. Nice product with Camera & Senser (and night vision feature). At that time I paid Rs.12, 500 plus Rs.500 as fixing charges.

I am not sure whether they have one which can fit on the dashboard. Suggest check with the Maruti Accessories section near your place.

I've installed in my NMG a reversing camera, display is mounted on IRVM, been using it for more than 1.5 years, with no issues.

Bought from Amazon for 2.5k +300 for installation. It's very effective in the dark and bright sunlight also.

Oh nice, this one looks better than mine (Nippon at Rs.13000) and shows bigger image. Presume you get image along with beep sound (senser)?

This has camera only, no sensors, very happy with the performance VFM.

There are many features like BT, video etc., which I don't use.

And the monitor acts as a Anti glare mirror.

What car do u drive?

Does your car HU has a screen and supports AV inputs? If yes, just get a reverse cam for 1.5k approx and it should do the job.
If not, I'd suggest a reverse cam that comes with its own screen. The ones that mount on the IRVM often get loose/fall overtime.

There are little to no warranty if you buy online. You have to buy at own risk.
However I have Autocop RP Sensor in Manza and its going strong after 5 years also.

Autocop & Nippon are trusted brands in Remote(keyless entry) and Reversing camera. Note sure about other brands. Further Autocop have offices in india (belive Nippon also have) - see this Link

My Tata dealer has send me two models of Reverse parking camera (fixable on IRVM) which they recommend (they dont have any other models):

I doubt these are TATA OEM accessories as I did not see with my dealer.
First one is a DVD cum camera the second one seems to be only camera. These are very popular on Bangalore cabs.

The image and price of the product received from Tata dealer's Accessory department.
They are having only these two Reverse Parking camera's on their stock.

First one (V-7X RVM) has bigger image and more features.! But the 2nd one (RVM -C300) has 'Auto Dimming' feature in the mirror which is good for night driving.
