Proper Way of Checking Oil Level in Bike?

I'm just confused about the proper way of checking oil level in my honda dream neo bike.

Should I start it to make the engine hot, switch off after a few minutes, and wait for another few minutes to settle the oil in crank case before checking the oil level?

While checking oil level whether the bike must be kept on main stand or hold it upright with two wheels on ground?

Should the dip stick be screwed in full and screwed out for getting proper oil level?

Yes. Exactly. Better still, ride it for 10-20 minutes rather than idling it.

Upright with two wheels on a LEVEL ground.
