Hyundai is reportedly working on the third-generation Creta (codenamed SX3) which is scheduled to launch in India in 2027. (Source: Link)

- New Hyundai Creta will be manufactured at the company’s Tamil Nadu facility. It’s expected to retain the existing engine setup.
- There’s a possibility that Hyundai will introduce a strong-Hybrid powertrain with 1.5L Petrol motor that it also intends to use in the upcoming Hyundai Ni1i SUV.
- Hyundai Creta EV too is expected receive a mild makeover by 2027 in terms of enhancement in design, features and possibly even range.
